1. Wash your hands and feet, wear fresh clothes, and sit on a comfortable asana.
हाथ, पैर धो लें और साफ़ कपड़े पहन कर, आसन पे बैठ जाएँ ।
2. If a couple is sitting together, the wife should be sitting on the right of the husband.
अगर पती पत्नी साथ बैठ रहे हो, तो पत्नी पती के दायें तरफ़ बैठे ।
3. Take water from the Panchapatra (copper vessel filled with water) using the Pali (spoon) using your left hand and pour it on your right palm. Wash your hands.
पंचपात्र से पानी लेकर, दाईंने हाथ पे डालो और हाथ धो लें ।
4. Once again, take water and pour it on your right palm. Say “Om Achutaya Namah” and drink the water.
फिर एक बार दाएँ हाथ पे पानी लीजिए, “ॐ अचुताय नमः॥” का उच्चारण कीजिए और पानी पी लीजिए ।
5. Once again, take water and pour it on your right palm. Say “Om Anantaya Namah” and drink the water.
फिर एक बार दाएँ हाथ पे पानी लीजिए, “ॐ अनंताय नमः॥” का उच्चारण कीजिए और पानी पी लीजिए ।
6. Once again, take water and pour it on your right palm. Say “Om Govindaya Namah” and drink the water.
फिर एक बार दाएँ हाथ पे पानी लीजिए, “ॐ गोविंदाय नमः॥” का उच्चारण कीजिए और पानी पी लीजिए ।
7. Take water, pour it on your right palm and wash your hands.
पंचपात्र से पानी लेकर, दाएँ हाथ पे डालो और हाथ धो लें ।
8. Keep flower petals and rice in your left palm and cover your left palm with your right palm. Place the palms on your right knee.
फूल और अक्षत बाएँ हाथ में ले, बाएँ हाथ को दाएँ हाथ से बंद कर दे, और दोनों हाथों को दाएँ घुटने पे रख दें।
9. Recall your Gotra, Nakshatra, Rashi and Name when prompted by Panditji.
जब पंडितजी कहें, तब अपना गोत्र, नक्षत्र, राशी और नाम, मन में याद कर लें।
10. Recall your Sankalpa (intention / desire) when prompted by Panditji.
जब पंडितजी कहें, तब अपना संक्लप मन में याद कर लें।
11. Repeat the Sankalpa Mantras as uttered by Panditji.
पंडितजी के साथ संकल्प के मंत्र दौहराएं।
12. After Panditji says Karishya and Karashye, move the flowers and rice from your left palm to your right palm and offer it (along your intention) to the Taman (plate).
जब पंडितजी “करिषे” और “कारिषे” कहें, तो फूल और अक्षत दाएँ हाथ से बाएँ हाथ में ले, और अपने संक्लप के साथ तामन में समर्पण कर दें।
13. Take water, pour it on your right palm and wash your hands.
पंचपात्र से पानी लेकर, दाएँ हाथ पे डालो और हाथ धो लें ।
